Change your forum & e-mail signatures

If you frequent message boards or belong to email groups that allow signatures, tell people about the great products you found. Include your signature in all your business and personal emails, too.

Most boards don’t allow blatant advertising. However, MOST will allow you to include a few lines in your signature to promote whatever you wish – which can generate a great deal of exposure and clickthroughs for you.

Of course you can write your own ads for your signature. Just remember though, your signature is really a mini advertisement – so make it as powerful and irresistible as you can in order to generate those all-important click-throughs!

If you don’t already have an account with StumbleUpon, visit http://www.stumbleupon.com

StumbleUpon can now be used with Internet Explorer, but I prefer Firefox. Click on “Sign Up”. You will be sent to download the Firefox extension. After a quick restart of the Firefox browser, you will notice the following at the top of the browser:

RSS Feeds

RSS is a way you can broadcast your content to a number of services and individuals easily.

Here is the easiest way to get your own RSS feed(s):

1. Go to Rapidfeeds.com and create a free account.

2. Go to “FeedManager”, click “Create New Feed” and add a new feed (as the “Link” add your affiliate link).

3. Now click “+ Add Item” and add an item. Think about it like a blog post. You can post an article, or an advertisement, anything you want – it’s your feed 

4. Now Click “Publish” to publish your new RSS feed.

5. Save your RSS feed’s URL to a text file for later reference.

6. Click “Ping”, check all the ping services and click the “Ping Now!” button.

7. Now go to http://www.submitrssfeed.com, create a free account and submit your new feed to the RSS directories.

Yahoo! Answers

Sites like and Yahoo! Answers have become very popular. People can ask questions on just about any topic and end up with at least one answer.

If you gave a truly helpful answer, and made someone feel important by helping them, you’ve created a powerful emotional attachment with that person. Once you have this attachment you can carefully introduce the fact that you have a business related to the topic you helped that person with, and that you may be able to help them even more through your business.

1. Sign up for a Yahoo! account.

2. Go to http://answers.yahoo.com and search for questions related to WordPress or blogging

3. Answer people’s questions and direct them to your (cloaked) affiliate link

Submit Testimonials

Submit testimonials with your name and affiliate link (or a link to your review page or blog) at the bottom for products or services that you’ve purchased in the past (preferably products that relate to, or complement Crystal Theme).

If you haven’t *purchased* many products and therefore can’t offer many testimonials, subscribe to free ezines and offer testimonials for the ezines that you enjoy! With over 300,000 ezines online, you could be submitting testimonials endlessly… Try to submit at least 5 testimonials a day.
